What is an eFoil?

What eFoils do we use?

South Coast eFoil is proud to be an affiliate for Lift eFoils. Lift eFoils are the best on the market: made from carbon fibre, up to 2 hour battery life and insanely fun - these boards are the Ferrari's of the eFoil world!

What do I need to bring for my lesson?

All you need to bring is a towel and some swimwear to wear under the wetsuit. Everything else is provided: life jacket, high visibility top, wetsuit boots, gloves and a helmet.

Do I need to be able to swim?

Accepted Answer

You need to be comfortable in water. If you can swim a length in the pool and can tread water for 2 minutes, you'll be absolutely fine. Our instructors are trained and practice rescue drills frequently in order to ensure the safest experience whilst out on the water.

Where are you based?

We operate from the New Forest and pick the lesson location depending on conditions of the day. You'll see us frequently flying above the waves from Calshot or just off the coast from Hythe marina.

What is the minimum age limit?

10 - must be able to swim a length of a swimming pool and tread water for at least 2 minutes unassisted.
